Saturday Serve | Global Sounds | Park Volunteers

Global Sounds is a community event held in the heart of South Omaha that celebrates the diverse international populations residing in the area. Bands and musicians from various cultures come together to turn Upland Park into a giant dance floor!

When we serve in Local Missions, we believe that we are being discipled in compassion to meet the needs of our city. By serving with Canopy South, we are elevating and celebrating the vibrant cultures that exist all around us. We're treating the foreign-born as natives among us (Leviticus 19:34) and celebrating their experiences as images of God! 

Canopy South, the organizers of the event, are seeking volunteers to help with the following four areas:

Family Partner Support + Crosswalk Help
Parking and Traffic Control (4-6 PM)
Clean Up + Family Partner Support
Parking and traffic Control (6-8 PM)

EVEN IF YOU DON'T VOLUNTEER:
We would still love to invite you and your family to join us at the event! It's a fun time full of music, food, vendors, and all the cultures that make Omaha beautiful!
